Pressure Grouting
The purpose of grouting can be either to strengthen or reduce water flow through a formation. Pressure grouting involves injecting a grout material into discontinuity, pore or void space with in the formation. A cementitious grout is injected under a controlled pressure and the spread of the grout is monitored until the required percentage of the discontinuity, pore or void space is achieved and the formation is left with the required characteristics. The greatest use of pressure grouting is to improve geomaterials (soil and rock). Ticeans engineering Ltd can provide the design, equipment and extensive expertise to carry out this highly specialist ground engineering, whilst providing records and testing for completed applications and environment agency sign off. Recently completed projects include: Hemerdon and Wolf minerals water storage dam.
