Visual Inspections & Mining Related Subsidence Reports

This type of report may be requested when a Basic Mine Search is undertaken as part of the conveyance work by the home owner, solicitors or potential purchasers. If the desktop mine search indicates there are no recorded mining features in the immediate vicinity of the property but an ore body or lode is known to pass below or close to the property, the reports recommendation is to request a detailed site inspection by a Geotechnical Engineer who has relevant experience and qualifications in buildings, foundations and mining.

The inspection is a very low cost and effective way to determine if there is any evidence of mining or ground stability problems on the site itself and allow your property sale or purchase to move forward. It provides peace of mind for the purchaser and gives a risk status for the property that can be used by mortgage providers, insurance companies to approve the property for future lending or buildings insurance.
